My Birthday Present to Taylor

In response to Taylor’s request for a financial tip from anyone she helped in the last twelve months I say this;

1. You have helped no one and you don’t deserve a cent from anyone.

2. My present to you is on it’s way – the total debunking of your reliance on those reports you say prove your case. When I’m done, you’ll have nothing. That’s my present to you, Taylor. A whole lot of nothing.

Running from Vaccines

First of all, it’s total moronics on the part of Taylor to try and link the vaccine situation with proven espionage! It’s ridiculous! Edward Snowden’s so called cache will not reveal anything about vaccines. It will simply show just how much surveillance the CIA has been engaging in. Why should anyone worry? As long as you are keeping your nose clean, you have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!

But Taylor decides to use this as a precursor to call on everyone to opt out of education programs that are being plied to parents to make sure that they understand what vaccines really are and what they do before getting the opt out option for vaccination. She calls vaccination a bad choice no matter what! This is why I’m working to get those reports she relies upon slammed to the wall by science – to show her that she is very badly wrong and that her rhetoric is LIFE THREATENING!!

There’s nothing wrong with a vaccine database. It’s not available to the public so there is no threat to medical privacy. Only those who need to know would have access, like school districts who can then say Yes or No to admitting the child. They have the right to know the child’s vaccination history because it has an effect on the safety of their school yards and class rooms. This is a fact that goes right over Taylor’s bimbo head!

With adults this only really affects the same area, and other areas where children are involved. Add the elderly to that as well, and hospitals when a patient or employee. Outside of that – no effect.

But Taylor really scrapes the barrel by suggesting that clauses in Obamacare supporting vaccines lead to bribes to states – such as ten million for a door to door vaccination program. Taylor has the gall to suggest that the dollar signs will encourage a state to take the money and run!! BULLSHIT!! Any state will take ANY help to get vaccination numbers up! And if Taylor think this will lead to a Governor getting tossed out at an election she is nuts – because the majority of voters don’t give a shit!

If Taylor thinks this will get anything off the ground she is a bona fide lunatic.

Defamation against Johns Hopkins

Across the medical world, Johns Hopkins is a known and respected medical facility in teaching and research. Indeed, it’s a name that shut the fictional mouth of upper class Charles Emerson Winchester III when it came to medical credibility. A connection with Autism even exists, with the section on child psychiatry pioneered by none other than Leo Kanner.

So for Taylor, via a biomed mother named Shannon Strayhorn, to call Johns Hopkins School of Medicine a hall of “brainwashing” is libel under American law and defamation under Australian law.

The course Strayhorn attended was about vaccine trials. And she tried to provide evidence of their danger – likely some of the same reports Taylor referred to a couple of entries back. The staff at Johns Hopkins knew they were bunk, so of course they ignored them. Let’s review Strayhorn’s idea of denial;

  1. Deny science – They aren’t. Strayhorn and Taylor are.
  2. Pretend parents are dumb – Parents who go down the line of Strayhorn and Taylor ARE dumb!
  3. Make it all about Wakefield and say things he never said – Most parents who oppose vaccines are Wakefield supporters so this is entirely understandable.
  4. Pretend no other science exists – It doesn’t.
  5. Use your PhD to convince people they must believe you because you are smarter – They are.
  6. When panicked reference their idol Offit – There is no panic when referring to Paul Offit.
  7. Deny any corruption or financial ties unless you need to defend why you think Wakefield was wrong in which case that is allowed – There are no financial ties that prove corruption and that’s defamation by itself!
  8. Claim correlation and say how you understand the stupid parents are desperate and how bad you feel for not having answers and in same breathe say they must not understand science – They do have the answers, but Strayhorn and Taylor don’t want to listen to those answers!
  9. Deny any and all proof that pharma has a history of lies and corruption and if someone points that way redirect and say how awesome of a job you do taking safety as the priority – Any little bit of evidence of lies and corruption within Big Pharma is not proof of a major issue with vaccines.
  10. Pretend you have no idea who Thorsen is or if pressed claim it doesn’t matter – Thorsen was a mistake and should be treated as such.
  11. Use terms like “studies in other countries” (because people won’t know) or say crap like “mercury has been removed” (use MMR because you think that is what we want to hear) or if all else fails talk about antigens – Mercury was never in vaccines. That’s ethyl mercury, which is not the same thing. Studies in other countries are relevant, especially Australia with the toughest testing regime of the western world.
  12. Blame parents – For not doing their job properly by questioning vaccines to the extent of Strayhorn and Taylor? Yes, blame them.
  13. Accuse parents of following newspapers, and celebrities – They do, and it’s wrong.
  14. Repeat there is no science – There isn’t.
  15. Repeat your degree – And add experience in the field as well.

It’s about time Taylor was yanked into line. Strayhorn as well. I admit that I asked a friend to publish a document provided to me by a person who I won’t name for the moment, showing evidence of how all 70 of Taylor’s links were wrong. In fact the document had 72 just to be sure. And all Taylor could tell “Artie” was that all the debunking was being done by unreliable sources. Orac is unreliable? Sullivan? Liz Ditz? Did she even read what they said? No, because she insists that she’s right and they are wrong and won’t listen to her!

You need a slap to the back of the head by another mother, Taylor! A mother who actually knows what’s going on! You don’t!

Running with poor comprehension

Oh talk about political grandstanding!

Taylor decided to run with the wrong interpretation of the following note on the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) page regarding the “Causes and Risk Factors” of Autism;

There is some evidence that the critical period for developing ASDs occurs before birth. However, concerns about vaccines and infections have led researchers to consider risk factors before and after birth.

Taylor calls this an admission to the link. I call BS on that exhibition of poor comprehension. The second sentence is merely a note that they have heard the vaccine nonsense and nothing more. Personally I would have been more direct than that, and if I have a criticism for the CDC it’s their refusal to be direct. If I was in charge I would be putting the vaccine argument into a separate section and deny the link outright. Because there is no proven link. There is only wild speculation.

Lying about the origins of Autism

It would take too long to go through and reply to this entry as I should – and that includes creating a responding video. I feel sorry for Koran Boggs because as it was admitted – there wasn’t enough time for a proper debate. Koran was also confronted with something outside ABA (the doctor’s area of expertise) so naturally the established line – and the correct one as well – was used.

Armed with all the counter papers and so on, I’m sure that every single one of Taylor’s 70 reports has been debunked. She’s a liar who doesn’t understand the Autistic Spectrum’s real origins – genetics. She just refuses to take it on board. Well I’ll tell you what, Taylor. Give me the time during the summer when I’m not as busy, and I’ll debate you and I’ll tear you a new one. Piece by piece. Heck, Vera Schieber was mentioned and she was torn a new one years ago in a Tribunal hearing in Queensland by the presiding member!

Reality check – there is vaccinated v unvaccinated research. You just have to read and understand the existing literature properly (something Taylor doesn’t do like all Vaccine/Autism skeptics). And there is no credible research supporting vaccines causing Autism. There is only garbage. Of course Koran didn’t want to talk to her!

As for Bill Posey’s proposal, H.R.1757, I’ve already commented on that on the HARB as Best has also mentioned it.

Scaremongering at it’s finest

After the positives of the previous entry, we go back to typical Taylor histrionics with this one.

Ernest Hancock is a Libertarian who hosts a radio show called “Declare your independence” which used to be on the Liberty News Radio Network (now defunct presumably) and the Republic Broadcasting Network. So the sort of audience he has would be converted morons already questioning the government on everything let alone vaccines. And a limited audience at that!

But what Taylor put on her blog for listeners to read was a list that was completely out of context! I mean just for starters, she listed the diseases inoculated against instead of the number of jabs. She insinuated that there were four vaccines in 1983 when in fact it was two (Diptheria, Tetanus and Pertussis are all in the DTP vaccine, Polio was the other). She did that same thing with the MMR vaccine – which had three separate jabs in 1983 and only one now!

She also insinuates that the changes started after the Vaccine Court was first established because Big Pharma was now protected. Now to a certain extent I agree, but not because it protects Big Pharma. It protects doctors, like the idiot who jabbed Hannah Poling nine times in a catch up causing a sensory overload on an already established Autistic. It’s why I’m opposed to such a scheme being introduced in Australia as has been proposed.

Finally, there’s the word “recommended”. The CDC in the US only recommends the schedule. It doesn’t mandate it and nor should it. And yet as far as Taylor is concerned, this is all their fault – when she should be pointing the fingers at the individual states who have apparently mandated it hard and fast. That’s a waste in the teen years for influenza because it’s not needed for those who are active and playing sport. It’s only needed for those who don’t.

Tracking

I have to admit, occasionally the idiots on the wrong side of Autism debate do get something right.

As we all know, Autistic kids have a tendency to bolt or wander. So I have to give credit where it’s due to Taylor on this occasion – on two fronts.

The first was having the courage to take an Autistic camping. Get outside. Always a good idea. I like camping myself – except for the fact that it means travelling heavy and when you don’t have transport of your own that’s a pain in the rear end.

The second was the core reason for Taylor’s entry – getting a tracking device for her Autistic son. I’ll overlook the fact that it was a dog tracker she bought, simply because it was short notice and she couldn’t get a proper people tracker. She paid in excess of $600 for it, but from her description of events at the camp ground it was worth every cent and then some.

What was even better was that her son showed the smarts of realising what his mother was doing and how wearing the thing gave him more freedom of movement. So he got used to it and accepted it. That’s the sort of honesty Autistics appreciate and respond to, and no matter what I think of Taylor’s attitude otherwise – I applaud this.

Two Fools Fighting

I do enjoy it when fighting starts between two enemies of the truth about Autism and vaccines. In this case it’s Taylor and Quackwatch’s number one enemy – Tim Bolen.

The entry I’m reacting to is based on an email argument where both of them act like petulant teenagers abusing each other. Bolen seems to call himself a leader in the Autistic Community (HA!!!) and has also claimed that he is working behind the scenes to blow the whole thing wide open. Given the number of lies Taylor called him out on (not that she is in any place to do that – the little hypocrite) I doubt he’s doing anything really different. He insinuates that he’s fighting for the Geiers when everyone else has given up (and being smart because they are done for certain).

The reality is that neither of these fools are leaders and never will be. I would like to think that I’m one so I’d like to know where Bolen is in my email box. My leadership at the moment though is blunted – at least until I deal with my legal issues 100 percent.

On another note from this entry, I see that Taylor is claiming that the almost three month break between posts has been caused by “more serious and boring work”. That says plenty about her commitment to Autism…..

Taylor is not Autistic Aware

The entry I’m responding to here is nothing more than a reprint of Taylor’s whines from every April 2 since either she created her blog or since the day was first established. There was just a brief up to date snippet that I’ll address.

Yes, society is falling apart within the Autistic community – and who’s causing that? People like YOU, Taylor! You’re not part of the solution – you’re part of the problem! The establishment wants you to be fine with vaccines, as you should be because they are safe. They are only a problem in the hands of bad workers, and that’s the workers at fault. The establishment knows that Autism is genetic in origin – but you can’t tell dimwits like Taylor that. She thinks she knows better than the experts!

Here’s the reality. The first jump was the result of the DSM-IV. Subsequent jumps are the result of improved diagnosis, although there are some issues with the DX being pursued to the extent that it’s made out of sufferance rather than accuracy. Hopefully this is something that the DSM-V will correct, and plain old bad behaviour will be weeded out and dealt with.

As far as any increase in low functioning Autism is concerned, that’s the result of a lack of respect for sensory overload across the board. Poor usage of vaccines can be a trigger there, but so can so many other things. Personally I blame the fast life being encouraged in the 21st century combined with the increase in density in cities leading to less space for those on the Spectrum. This presses the regression button and down they go into the low functioning zone.

That is real Autism Awareness, Taylor. Basic truth. Live with it.

More Taylor nonsense sold as “science”

Oh here we go again! In the wake of another study rightly debunking the link between Autism and vaccines, Taylor decides her response should be a step by step plan to put the nurses in their place.

Step 1 – Print out the study (Okay)

Step 2 – Take your child to the doctor’s surgery armed with it as proof that’s time to vaccinate (Okay)

Step 3 – When the nurse enters with the vaccine, tell her you want it with the antigens only and not anything else (O……..)

STOP!!!!!!!

This is where the advice falls off the tracks, and big time! She’s going down the content line and is trying to say that all the extras aren’t antigens and so on. Excuse me, you stupid witch, but the WHOLE THING is an antigen! There are no extras! It’s all part of it – and to say otherwise is a massive fail in chemistry in particular! If the nurse was in any way competent she’ll say that the study says that the whole vaccine is safe and that’s the end of it. A militant one would call her a potential manslaughter merchant with that sort of talk.

As for the demand that a study be done for vaxxed v un-vaxxed – given that most of the children in the developed world are vaxxed that’s hardly a reliable study to perform. Besides which, Autistics are present in both groups and that’s a fact! Why? Because it’s genetic in origin and has nothing to do with vaccines in causation!
